Hanna Hansdotter

Hanna Hansdotter (b. 1984) is a bold Swedish artist and designer whose expressive work merges punk baroque influences with architectural ornamentation.

Based in Glasriket, Sweden, she quickly made a name for herself on the international design scene. Her artistry challenges the boundaries between design and sculpture, often described as rebellious and refined in equal measure.

Hansdotter’s accolades include the Åke Andrén artist scholarship (2020), Elle Decoration Design Awards, and the Residence Arts & Crafts Award. Her works are part of esteemed public collections, including the National Museum in Stockholm and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg.

Her Rock series is a tribute to Ann Wolff’s iconic Snowball, reinterpreting its legacy with a modern, tactile flair.
